Went there twice recently with each of my youth sports teams, called ahead. They had tables ready for us. They had the pizza ready to come out within five minutes, pizza was perfect. Service was great, and we were in and out in it roughly 1 hour.
We usually order for pick-up or delivery but the restaurant atmosphere is warm and inviting for eating in too. The pizzas are all delicious, chicken Marsala is one of our favorites. The entree's are so good and portion sizes are large. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Stella, the owner is just the most lovely person. Mario's is a win-win!
Still my favorite Mario's for pizza. Today, we had a slice of Mario's Special and a slice of chicken parmesan pizza. I love how pizza by the slice is extra .crispy
We ordered catering from here twice in the last few months and I can't stop hearing from all of our guests how much they enjoyed everything. I spoke to the same woman on the phone each time to place the order. I'm sorry I don't remember her name, but she made ordering painless and was so helpful. Each time we ordered 8 pizzas and a 4 foot hero half Italian half grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers. Each time the sandwiches were gone in minutes and all our guests couldn't stop complimenting the quality and taste of the food. The pizza was exceptional as well and the least expensive in the area. I will frequent this spot as often as I can!
Fast delivery and great food!. A large salad is enough for more than one serving. Zeppolis had enough sugar on them! And the pizza was so filling. Oh! And the delivery person had no issue of walking to the backyard.
The slices here are HUGE! The bread is thin and crispy. Just like in Queens. They are generous with the cheese. They have a variety of different pizzas. My son likes their BBQ chicken pizza. Place is very clean. They have a gentleman that covers the eating area and cleans up.
Be warned this review is coming from an OKIE! I was on Long Island for work and my co workers wanted some NY pizza. Mario's was up the road from our hotel so we popped in. I understand there is a large chain of these but it didn't feel like a chain when we went in. Personally I like that. I was happy to see this is a walk up order kind of spot. Makes me feel like I'm getting a true NY experience! I also LOVE how big the slices of pie are! Again, makes me feel like I'm getting a NY experience! I had a slice of the buffalo chicken pizza and my goodness I wanted to get up and two step in the isles! Also, I am not one to dance, but this stuff make me want to! The crust was amazing and crunchy and the buffalo chicken was all over. There was a LOT of it! Though the restaurant was busy the staff were all super friendly and I saw them field a lot of questions from patrons asking about different types of pizza and what was on them. If I get back to Long Island and am close to one of these, I'll be sure to pop back in and try some of the other delectable looking options they have!
